I prefer the use of unnatural color and physical distortion as a device in my paintings to reveal not how subjects look but how they feel.

And I go further and instill a pulse. My paintings are visual poems. They throb with compassion, humor, fear, sadness, and joy, and my love for music and dance.

They are not just paint and canvas hung on a wall. They come alive. And they do so when you, the viewer, enters the room.
